See you on the Road!

I sign off with "See you on the Road!" and had to laugh when one person wrote "are you threatening me?" like to make it sound that they talked to a lawyer. They had and then found out it was just my way of signing my emails and blogs. Talk about taking too much to serious! On a normal day the site receives up to 12 requests for donation, which we never do, one or two lottery winnings, which are illegal to play oversea lotterys' from the USA and many, many scams to reply to. Most are deleted, but some are forwarded to the credit card companies, lottery experts or just sent to the FBI for further review if need be, but never ever ignored. We have been in contact with paypal, & ebay regarding phishing and even heard of a couples arrest come out of these.

But, one of our links to the http://www.bikercharityride.com is a genuine friend who does lots of fundraising and I still say go check out Charlie's site and offer any help you can. He is raising for ST Judes Hospital in NYC this month. A Night of Hope! Finding Cures. Saving Children.

Days are cooling off fast and just came inside after putting the bike(motorcycle) away. Saw many people getting the "last" rides in before the season closes. Today is the first time I am using the new blog and posting it out there for anyone to see. May 9th, 2009 is the target date for our "Bike Blessing" things are coming together fast for this event. This year we are sponsoring a local Veterans Charity. We are trying to top our last two years rides.

Running a couple small websites has been pretty gratifying for all the participation we get and do. I upload pictures onto a small veteran site for our Disabled American Vets DAV Chapter 179 Plattsburgh/Peru, NY http://plattsburghbarracksveteransparkwall.org located at the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base.

As we proceed into 2009 we are going to re-establish our meet and greets over the winter. We are going to proceed in becoming bigger, more exposed and our goal is to put as many (s)miles on as possible.
